Lucky Magazine kicked off its three-day shopping event, Lucky Shops LA, Thursday and yours truly was among the people trying to get a good deal. Siren Studios in West Hollywood was transformed into a pop-up department store with a great deal of designer goods at reduced prices. I attended with the fabulous Kelsi Smith of Dedicated-Follower!
Wearing: V-neck fleece by American Apparel, denim by A.P.C. and military boots by All Saints.
We had a blast and, as usual, ran into a lot of familiar faces: Laurie of LaurieBStyle, Tiara The Dope Girl, Sydne of thinkthruFashion, Kristen of Glitter'n Glue and Kelly from Buss Buss, among other fabulous people! As with most events like this one, there where some great finds and some not so good ones too. I was disappointed to discover there wasn't much of a selection for men. However, I did walk away with this perfect Ariel Gordon bracelet:
I've been hunting for a bracelet to wear on my left wrist, something that would complement my watch, and this thin white leather & sterling silver bracelet is so perfect it hasn't come off since!
The timepiece, btw, is Cartier. Gentleman, if you're at that age [25-ish] when you can invest in a nice watch and you want something that will keep its value over time, this is it! The Santos is such a classic, sophisticated and timeless piece. You can expect this watch to be just as great 20 years from now.
